Most of us aren't exactly thrilled by the prospect of having to clean the loo, so this hack could be a game changer for anyone looking to cut down on time spent with their head in the bowl.
Lifestyle website Fabiosa shared the unusual tip for keeping yourtoilet clean and fresh, and it's since taken off around the internet.
The advice is to take a tube of toothpaste and pierce as many holes in it as you can before sitting it inside the cistern of your loo.
The claim is that every time you flush, a small amount of toothpaste will be released, providing a "small disinfection" in conjunction with a minty, refreshing smell.

What's more, this hack could also save you money: You can pick up a tube of toothpaste for as little as $1.80 - and the method is said to work for up to a month.
