Bikini model who says she's too beautiful to find love claims she only attracts men 'who are only after one thing' - but viewers slam her for being 'self-obsessed'. / ITV

A bikini model has claimed her good looks are to blame for her single status on UK TV show This Morning.

The Daily Mail reports that mother-of-two, Jenna Thompson, who has a 5 and 1-year-old, split with ex two years ago and since then has told how dating has been a bit of a disaster.

"I think I intimidate nice guys," she explained to presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

"I seem to attract guys who are only after one thing. People who think they'll have a go and just want hook ups. No one is looking for anyone that serious."

But viewers at home had rather mixed views on the subject matter. "Get over yourself love - when did we become so self obsessed?" wrote one. "You are quite good looking for some but not for others. Beauty in terms of relationships comes from the inside not the outside."

Another harshly commented: "So Miss Fake thinks she is too good looking to find a date does she. Sounds like someone has a very over-inflated ego to me."

Describing dating apps as a "minefield" and slamming them for being "shallow", Jenna went on to describe how she has had some serious dating disasters.

Get over yourself love ffs when did we become so self obsessed? @thismorning #thismorning you are quite good looking for some but not for others. Beauty in terms of relationships comes from the inside not the outside you dick

"I was set up on a date with some friends of mine and it ended up being with a guy who was a parking ticket officer - and he'd actually given me a parking ticket earlier that day,"she said.

"These are my friends trying to set me up on a date with somebody local. He wasn't for me."

Speaking from the This Morning sofa, she then told of an awkward experience she had with a married man.

"I had this guy who confessed that he was married, relatively late on into us dating," explained the mother-of-two.

"It was quite cold and wet on the date. He told me face-to-face. He actually slipped and fell over while trying to chase after me after I was walking off and I had to take him to the hospital because he knocked himself out."

Kylie Jenner fans outraged by latest product

Taking to social media, many people slammed the bikini model for her bold statement and for praising her own looks.

"'I'm too good looking to find love' - how sad are you?" said one. While another commented: "Crikey! Talk about contradicting yourself. Aren't people so full of themselves these days."

Meanwhile, a third penned: "We are all attracted to 'certain types'" she admitted. "She goes for a certain type, dressing like that will also attract a certain type."

@thismorning crikey! Talk about contradicting yourself. And I saw better looking people in Morrisons in Eccles this morning. Jeez!! Aren't people so full of themselves these days.

— Rachel 🐝 (@rachiesedds) May 13, 2019

@thismorning “I’m too good looking to find love” - how sad are you?

— Claire Bird (@clairebird2002) May 13, 2019

@thismorning another waste of airtime space! ‘Too good looking to find love’.....watching less and less of this programme week by week!

— Lynda Stock (@lynda_stock) May 13, 2019

Willoughby then went on to mention how Thompson's friends had suggested she change her image or tone it down a little bit - something the bikini model isn't willing to do.

"Thing is if you change yourself you're never going to be truly happy are you?" she said. "How long can you wear a mask for before it starts to slip.

"You're not going to be authentic to the person you're dating. Why change the way I look just to fit into a category for the sort of person I'm looking for? Maybe I haven't met that type of person yet."

She continued: "Maybe it's the type of guy I go for. I've got a definite type. I have a definite type in looks and that seems to come with a certain territory.

"I like heavily tattooed guys, good looking, who look after themselves, gym goers. I need someone who is able to connect with me on a deeper level.

"I like someone who has quite a bit of depth and personality. This is why I quite like people who are heavily tattooed because they're normally quite deep and artistic."

Really can relate to the lady that was on this morning , so happens to meeeee 😭😑☹ @thismorning #thismorning #thismorningdating

— Jess (@lifesooooooo) May 13, 2019

But while many viewers took to Twitter to highlight the contradictory statement Jenna made when discussing her type, others were keen to become her "type."

"'I'm too good looking for love...' she states that she likes heavily tattooed guys, who go to the gym, yet then follows this statement with 'I don't go for surface level stuff, I want to connect on a deeper level,'" wrote one, while another added: "I'm heading out now to get tatted up."

Meanwhile, a third claimed she could relate to Jenna's issues and said: "Really can relate to the lady that was on this morning, so happens to me."

Speaking of what's next when it comes to her love life, Jenna added: "I'm not going to give up on love, I still need to keep looking.

"I think I'm looking in the wrong place. I think we need to find a way of having a face to face.

"I am really choosy but why not? I'm not going to settle. I've got two little children so I can't settle. I have to be picky. I have to find the right person."
