No matter how well you look after your face, if you neglect your hands, they'll be a surefire giveaway of your age. The skin on the back of the hands is thin and delicate, so sun exposure and constant washing takes a big toll. Plus, post the age of 30, the fat cushions on the back of the hands deplete and the skin's elastin breaks down, resulting in crepey skin, age spots and visible veins. But a couple of simple steps can help slow the descent. First, and most importantly, always use an SPF - limiting sun damage is the best defence. Exfoliate regularly, hydrate after every handwash and invest in an age spot correcting formula. For a regular hydration boost, use moisture gloves and a thick hand cream as an overnight treatment.
