A video capturing the moment a baby girl puts on her first pair of glasses is melting the hearts of the internet after being posted on Facebook by her mum.
After an initial resistance an adorable grin spreads across baby Piper's face as she sees the world - and her
mum - clearly for the first time.
Jessica Sinclair told WKRC Cincinnati that she decided to get her daughter's eyes checked after noticing she was not picking up certain skills as quickly as expected.
The eye exam found that Piper was farsighted and needed glasses with a prescription of +7.00 in one eye and +9.00 in the other.
Today.com reports that Sinclair hopes the adorable video - a viral sensation with over 20 million views on Facebook - will raise awareness of the importance of eye exams for young children.
