What's your initial reaction: "Those bunnies in cups are adorable" or "They looked squished - this is cruel"?

The internet is divided over the video of four baby bunnies nestled inside drinking glasses.

Viewed over 57 million times, the clip shows the little quartet sleeping, wriggling, and one nibbling at his neighbour's ear.

The ear biter seems to be the most lively in the group, taking the longest to settle into its glass and fall asleep.

While there is no doubt the rabbits are cute, their predicament has sparked much debate online.

One viewer wrote: "No. Not ok. The baby rabbits are adorable. How about we put you on a giant glass and leave you."

Another noted: "Why would someone do such a thing? Is a bunnie in a glass more adorable than one who isn't? Guess not. So please get them out."

But others didn't see any problem with the set up, believing their behaviour didn't suggest they were uncomfortable or distressed: "If the animals didn't enjoy being in the glasses they would be trying to get out, they can easily poke their heads out but they quickly put it back down," wrote one.

Another added: "I see no cruelty whatsoever. People on the internet love to over exaggerate everything nowadays.

"The only 'struggle' I see, is the one bunny that looks like it's trying to get comfortable. I mean come on, two of them are sleeping. If they wanted to get out of those glasses, they'd get out."
