Ashley Tisdale launches 'empowering' lifestyle website

Ashley Tisdale has launched a lifestyle website.

The 30-year-old actress revealed that her new project TheHauteMess.com will celebrate imperfections and has been created to "empower women".

She tweeted: "We built thehautemess.com to empower women. This is a place where we get to learn from each other and embrace #TheHauteMess in us all."

Elaborating on her idea in her welcome message on the site, Ashley revealed that she wants to inspire people with the website.

She wrote: "I wanted to create a platform where guys and gals can share their imperfectness and figure it out together. With The Haute Mess, I hope to elevate other content creators and form a community of inspiring, brilliant and creative individuals.

"It's important that we spotlight the girl bosses, the trendsetters, the innovators, the bloggers, who have a wealth of experiences and knowledge to share with others."

Meanwhile, the Clipped actress - who tied the knot with Christopher French last September - recently opened up about how much she loves being married.

Asked how married life is going, she said: "It's great, it's great. It takes a long time to get to that, I think. There's definitely been past relationships where I've been like 'this is so hard, is this how it's supposed to be?' And then you get to The One and you're like 'Oh my god, if only I knew that this is what it's like.' So it's amazing."
