Andrew seen for first time since being stripped of titles

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been seen in public for the first time since he was stripped of all titles and ordered to leave his home.

The King’s brother was photographed riding in the grounds of Windsor Castle with a female companion on Monday (local time).

He was spotted at the top of the Long Walk, having just left the Royal Mews on horseback, at around 10.20am, before returning just under an hour later.

Andrew had not ventured far from Royal Lodge, the sprawling Crown Estate property that he has been forced to give up.

He is expected to relocate to a smaller, privately owned home on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk in the new year.

Andrew was seen out on his horse almost daily until being engulfed in the latest scandal concerning his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

He was forced to give up his remaining royal titles on October 17 after it emerged he had stayed in touch with Epstein longer than he had previously admitted.

Six days later, it was announced the King would formally remove his younger brother’s remaining titles and effectively evict him from Royal Lodge.

The latest photographs represent the first public sighting of Andrew in almost seven weeks.

Just hours earlier, Donald Trump urged Republicans to vote to release the remaining Epstein files in a notable about-turn.

The US President said on Sunday night that House Republicans should vote to publish the files on the convicted paedophile this week “because we have nothing to hide”.

He had previously lobbied hard to prevent the remaining documents from being released after 23,000 were published last week.
