Adorable note makes us believe in love again

If your belief in true love has been weakened by the recent slue of celebrity break-ups, this adorable note from one young classmate to another may just help restore your faith.

Redditor ''dreichert87'' shared an image of a note his niece, who's in fifth grade (aged 10 or 11 years old), received from a kid in her class with a major crush on her.

It is pure delight.

Your eyes remind me of the evening sky. My heart felt like broken glass until I saw you, and then I felt like I had every Pokemon ever. I love how you play Zelda even when people think its weird. If you ever liked me it would be my first ever victory.

Apparently the boy cleverly recruited other girls in the class to help him write the note.

"The fifth grader has more game than I'll ever have," wrote dreichert87.

However, it wasn't the happy ending the young man had hoped for. Dreichert explains that the child's affections were not reciprocated, although they plan to "remain friends and continue to talk about Zelda in art class."

Perhaps his first lesson in the game of love is that you don't always win.
