Your alphabetical guide to negotiating the course at Ellerslie

A: Ascot Stand
Once reserved for the exclusive use of Auckland Racing Club members, you can now purchase tickets to the New Zealand Room on the fifth floor of the Ascot Stand, with sweeping views of the racecourse and surrounds.

B: Birdcage
The birdcage is where the action is before and after
a race. It allows a last chance to view the horses before they head to the track and to celebrate the winners on return.

C: Cuvee
Cuvee is the place to be on raceday. Right on the winning post and beside the birdcage, it is in the middle of the racing and social action. Expect to enjoy a day of superb cuisine, exceptional service and the very best of the summer social season. Cuvee can also be booked for private functions.

D: Dress code
At racecourses across the world dress codes apply. A day at the races is a chance to get dressed up, so make sure you know the dress code for the area where you'll be spending the day. See ellerslie.co.nz for more details.
