Māori TV • 7am-8am and 4pm-5pm: Children's shows such as Dora the Explorer and Penguins of Madagascar dubbed into te reo. • 8pm: Rōmeo rāua ko Hurieta (Romeo and Juliet). The first of three half-hours on the making of the first Māori version of Shakespeare's famous play. The play itself will screen on Sunday night.
Te Reo Channel • 7pm: Pukuhohe. Five-part half-hour game show made for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori that puts two teams of three against each other in a war of wits and cunning.
