Maori Party launches its election campaign

The Maori Party is launching its campaign in Hamilton.

Sitting party MPs and candidates have been busy meeting supporters at the Frankton Market in an effort to secure the seven Maori seats on election day.

The party hierarchy is unimpressed with recent criticism from the Labour Party, they say they are prepared to consider negotiating with any party to form a new government.

But they say their final decision will be guided by their supporters.
