Not everyone's New Zealand Lockdown 2.0 has been all doom and gloom; in fact, one Waitarere Beach family bubble has created a fun activity they can all take part in.
Mum of the Ristow clan, Brooke, said this year's lockdown has allowed the creative juices to flow, and has resultedin a unique art experiment.
The Ristows have come up with colour-themed family photos, which definitely don't include your normal props or poses.

Using a range of products in a particular colour, including food, toys, clothes, furniture and even the family ute, everyone has joined in the fun, right down to the youngest member.
The models are Brooke and her husband Brian, with their children Piper, 14, Tatum, 11, Clover, 7, and Jules, 20 months, as well as next-door neighbours, and bubble buddies Jo and her son Brian, 9.
"We actually just gather some coloured things the night before and throw it on a chair. In the morning we see where our props will take us," said Brooke.
It doesn't usually take the family more than 30 minutes to get ready and snap a few pictures, and so far they've created six colour themes.
Brooke said, "Waitarere is not a terrible place to be on lockdown. We have the beach and forest accessible for walks and rides, but this is our only family creative endeavour."
