Police are calling on the public for information about a robbery at a Levin dairy on Tuesday.
The male offender, wearing dark clothing, went into the Queen Street Food Market at about 6.10pm. He stole cash and cigarettes and left the shop on foot, carrying a bag.
Police want to
hear from anyone who saw the male acting suspiciously near the shop.
They're also interested in hearing from the drivers of two cars seen parked in George St near the dairy at the time of the theft and left soon after.
The lone male shop attendant was not hurt.
