Foxton's cable wake board park Off The Loop is challenging people to come up with the craziest contraption they can ride on the water, for a special event to be held next month.
Can We Ride It? on Saturday December 14, will be "hilarious fun for the whole family anda raucous day out," said park owner Glen Butcher
"Think up your weird, your wonderful, your out-of-the-box visions, your home built contraption, your zaniest idea of something you think you can ride down our cable lanes and bring it along," he said.
"And if it has a costume and a theme tune involved, even better!"
Anything that can be ridden by being pulled down the cable-operated wakeboard channel would be eligible to take part in the day, as long as it is safe, Butcher said.
Scrutineering would take place at the start of the event to ensure safety.
Last year's inaugural event had bath tubs, modified bicycles and everything in between hitting the water to take part in the fun.
A prison toilet on a snow sled, a rocking horse, a fridge door and builder's saw horses were also among the unusual objects to make an appearance on the water.

"People either see something in their shed and jump on it and try to ride it, or they'll make something - we're sweet either way," Butcher said.
Butcher said categories would be "Ride with Style," "Eat sh*t [wipe out] in the first two seconds" and "anything and everything in between".
There will be prizes for all the most successful rides as well as the most dismal or spectacular failures.
As well as the competition, live music, bouncy castles and Off The Loop's new inflatable Aqua Park will all be onsite during the day, which starts with safety checks at 10.30am and the first rides from 11am.
A film crew from TVNZ's Seven Sharp programme will also be covering the event.
"Make sure you start planning your Can We Ride It creation now and be a local hero just in time for Christmas," Butcher said.
"Last year's entries were magnificent."
