The ZM Radio breakfast show team's podcast has been the most downloaded this year, as well as being selected for Best New Podcast in the 'iTunes Best of 2014 Awards', NZME. Radio said.
The iTUNES Best of 2014 was chosen by the iTunes Editorial team and celebrated the year's bestmusic, apps, TV shows, movies, books, and podcasts available from iTunes.
The ZM breakfast show was hosted by Carl "Fletch" Fletcher, Vaughan Smith and Megan Sellers.
They said it was a "total surprise" considering they had only had the podcast online for just over half this year.
ZM content director, Sarah Gandy said the year had been full of "change, innovation and trail blazing".
"It just goes to show how funny and entertaining Fletch, Vaughan and Megan really are every day - so funny in fact, that we are extending their show till 10am each week day next year.
"Bring on 2015 it's going to be a great year," she said.
