Manny Pacquiao had an unexpected guest joining him for the walk to the ring on Saturday night - late night chat show host Jimmy Kimmel.
Kimmel, 47, surprised many when he joined the 36-year-old Filipino boxer's entourage in Las Vegas, Nevada as they walked to the ring.
The idea for the gimmick, however, was actually proposed several weeks before Pacquiao headed out to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Kimmel honoured the big occasion by dressing up, although he did not - as he had originally promised - dress "just like Justin Bieber".
Instead, Kimmel altered his look to don the black fedora, sports jacket, and gold chains favoured by hip-hop group Run DMC.
His T-shirt, fittingly, featured a Pac-Man figure - echoing Manny's nickname - munching on a few images of Floyd's head.
This whole situation came to pass on April 23, when Pacquiao was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
"I would love to be a part of your entourage. I really would. Can I?" Kimmel begged his guest shortly after the two men sang Pacquiao 's self-composed theme song together.
The perhaps-confused boxer agreed, even before Kimmel added the additional incentive of offering to fight Bieber.
