People magazine paid US$4.1m for the first photos of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt.
Being blessed with the genes of two of the world's most beautiful people meant Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt - despite being just weeks old - was able to generate the most ever cash for a set of celebrity photos.
Her parents, actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated to
charity the US$4.1m (NZ$5.1m) paid by People magazine for Shiloh's first baby photos in June last year.
Forbes magazine has calculated the top ten most expensive celebrity photos over the past 10 years.
The demand for photos of celebrities, especially exclusive photos of key moments in their lives such as weddings and babies, has skyrocketed over the past several years.
All of the photos in the Forbes top ten were purchased by weekly celebrity magazines.
