What to do if Godzilla attacks Auckland

If a giant scaly monster with bad breath attacks Auckland, here's how to handle it.

Auckland Civil Defence and Emergency Management advises that, in the event of Godzilla's arrival in Auckland, people should:

1: Evacuate to a safe location and take pets. Watch out for large footprints; roads may be impassable and congested.

2: Listen to the radio for news. If you can't evacuate, take shelter in a bathroom or basement.

3: Download the Auckland Civil Defence smartphone app. Godzilla is unpredictable - our app will keep you updated on his path of destruction.

4: If hungry, Godzilla may drool, causing flooding.

5: Avoid smelling of fish or raw meat as Godzilla will be more inclined to eat you.
