"Obviously, they work within very different traditions," a voice-over says in the YMF promotional clip.
"Their willingness to ruthlessly upend tradition and their influence on the larger culture can't be overstated."
The program is co-curated by arranger Stephen Feigenbaum and conductor Yuga Cohler, known for incorporating technology, pop culture and creative media into the concert experience.
"He (Kanye) is unquestionably one of the most influential figures in popular music and culture," the Young Musicians Foundation page stated.
"There is no better comparison to him than Beethoven, the apotheosis of the classical tradition."
It isn't the first time Kanye's hits have been covered in a classical rendition, after Canadian instrumental group BadBadNotGood recorded their spin on the hip-hop artist's track Flashing Lights for their album BBNG2 in 2012.
The Yeethoven concert will feature the Egmont Overture and be held for free at the Aratani Theatre in Los Angeles on April 16.
