"I couldn't believe it. Four years later... there was so much going on in my life, for it to come back, I'm still in shock that it came back," he told 9Honey.
"I was fit, I train, I eat well, I don't do drugs, I hardly drink. I was the epitome of healthy.
"How does it come back? Why? What have I done to deserve this? What have I done? What am I doing wrong?" he recalled asking himself.
The 28-year-old revealed he delayed undergoing surgery so he could film scenes for MAFS.
The MAFS husband is now cancer free as of January thanks to surgery and chemotherapy.
Testicular cancer has a high survival rate with 98 per cent success for the first diagnosis and 96 per cent if the cancer returns.
