"Everyone was extremely excited to see Wee Waa go global," she told AAP.
"It's not every day you walk along the main drag and see little kids cruising past on their scooters with robot masks, doing the peace sign at you."
Police have issued a stern warning to revellers heading to Wee Waa, launching operation Hadrian to knuckle down on alcohol and drug-related offences.
"It's pretty crazy to think of our population trebling for one night," Ms Whan said.
"I'm looking forward to the night but I've got to say I'm glad I've got two cattle dogs to mind the backyard and keep the party-hard critters out."
She's not the only one arranging reinforcements.
Local bakers Michael and Merredith Jackson have brought in extra help so they can stay open into the wee hours of Saturday, feeding the tired, the hungry and - yes - the hungover.
