If you turned your television off as the credits began to roll after last night's mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, you missed a key scene.
That's because the hit zombie show aired a teaser for the second half of the sixth season that introduced a key character from thecomic books.
He's Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, a motorcycle gang boss who takes in survivors of the apocalypse for the small price of absolutely everything you own.
It was the first time fans have met Negan in the show. In the scene, a reunited Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham are stopped by Negan's henchmen blocking the road with their motorcycles.
Negan threatens to "end your asses, split you right in two, straight through to the sinuses" if they resist.
"Hand over your weapons ... they're not yours ... your truck, the fuel in your truck, if you got mints in your glove compartment, if you got porn underneath the seat, change in the seats, hell, the seats themselves, the floor mats, your maps, little stash of emergency napkins you got there in the console. None of those things are yours anymore," he says.
"Your property now belongs to Negan."

Other key events from last night's episode included Alexandria being overrun by zombies, town leader Deanna being bitten, and nurse Denise taken hostage after a fight between Carol and Morgan went wrong.
It also featured one of the show's most disgusting sequences, as a group of survivors led by Rick slathered themselves in zombie guts in a bid to escape safely from an infested house and make their way to freedom.
That included baby Judith, who was wrapped in a zombie blood-smeared shawl.
The Walking Dead's sixth season returns in February.
