Watch the first trailer for 'Steve Jobs' film

The first official teaser trailer for the Danny Boyle-directed Steve Jobs biopic has been released.

The upcoming film features X-Men star Michael Fassbender as Jobs.

The minute-long trailer doesn't reveal much about the flick but does give us a first look at Fassbender as the late Apple founder.

The clip shows Jobs preparing to deliver one of his trademark keynote presentations in Silicon Valley.

In additon to Fassbender, the film also stars Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, Jeff Daniels as John Sculley and Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman.

Steve Jobs is based on Walter Isaacson's biography and will be released in Australian cinemas on October 8.
