Scott Wade calls himself an "earth artist." His canvas is a dirty car window.

The Texan says it's a temporary medium that makes people smile and doesn't impact on the world around him.

Wade says his work usually takes between two and four hours to complete, after which it's either washed off or left to decay.

Sometimes the decaying process turns his art into something more interesting than the original. Wade has hooked up with Element Six Media, a US company providing green alternatives to traditional advertising.
