The notorious British criminal Charles Bronson has revealed that he would like Tom Hardy to father his child with new fiancée Paula Williamson.
Bronson, now known as Charles Salvador, hit the headlines last week by announcing his intentions to sue Richard Madeley for libel after he incorrectly claimed on GoodMorning Britain that Bronson had attacked a prison officer in 2016.

It was later confirmed that Madeley was given a charge sheet of an entirely different prisoner.
Bronson was a subject of discussion as the programme had welcomed onto the sofa the former Coronation Street actress Paula Williamson, who has recently become engaged to the eccentric prisoner. Now prison diaries have revealed that Bronson wishes that Hardy, who portrayed him in the 2009 movie Bronson, could father a child with his fiancée.
"The powers that be seem to think I can't have a baby with my Paula," he writes (via The Mirror). "But you know... I always come up with something special. Maybe a ¬surrogate daddy. If Tom says yes, I think it's got to be him.

"Get a meet with Tom. See what he thinks. I think Paula would go with that choice. I'll be discussing it with my Paula. It will be nice for her to have a baby to keep her happy while she awaits my freedom."
And if Hardy is unavailable, Bronson told a friend that he already has a possible replacement lined up: "I know Danny Dyer would be up for it," he writes, adding that he'd be happy if his child had the EastEndersstar's "jet black hair"
Bronson's admiration for Hardy has been widely documented, the pair meeting whilst Hardy was preparing to play him in a 2008 biopic.

Writing in his diaries, Bronson initially confessed that he wasn't impressed with the star when he discovered he was to play him, but changed his mind once he saw the physical transformation Hardy had embarked upon during the rehearsal process.
"He has put on one and a half stone of muscles for the movie," he wrote in January 2008. "He looks awesome and I'm so f------ proud of him. You wouldn't want to meet him down a dark alley at 3am. Tom looks more like me than I look like me."
He also bestowed upon Hardy the ultimate in gifts as he prepared for filming: his distinct curly moustache.
"A big event today: I chopped off the most infamous tash in the UK, if not Europe-maybe the world," Bronson wrote. "Yeah, my moustache has gone and it's going to end up going through Tom Hardy's letter box. Maybe the make-up artists on set can stick it on his top lip. If not, Tom can stick it in his pocket for luck. Then at least part of me will be on the film set!"

Bronson was given a seven-year sentence for armed robbery in 1974, but returned to prison after his release after he was found plotting another offence.
He is currently serving a life sentence that he was given in 1999 after he held a visiting teacher hostage at knife point. Much of his time has been spent in solitary confinement.
