Viewers shocked by insane Westworld finale

Westworld concluded with some shock revelations about major characters.

After 10 weeks of suspense, intrigue and at least one explicit orgy, Westworld revealed its twisted conclusion last night in an episode that shocked viewers.

It was the show few were expecting much from after production was halted numerous times, but the finished product managed to captivate the world.

The 90-minute finale, The Bicameral Mind, aired on SoHo last night, bringing the first season to a close.

There were plenty of twists, from the Man in Black being revealed as William, to hosts turning on the guests, Dolores murdering Ford, and another theme park called Samurai World being revealed.

Many fans were left stunned by what happened, taking to Twitter to vent.

The show's cast even joined in, with Evan Rachel Wood, who plays Dolores, suggesting fans needed to rewatch the series.

The show went out on a high this morning after it received several nominations in the Writer's Guild of America awards.

Westworld has been renewed for a second season, though it won't be out until 2018.
