"In the video we were trying to tap into the feeling of early Flying Nun videos like The Slide by Tall Dwarfs.
"We wanted to giveit a grimy and distinctively Kiwi look with real people in the video rather than models. The band didn't want it to be a typical performance video and wanted to avoid a boy meets girl narrative. It was important the music and the video were a complementary package and I think we managed to achieve that.
"Simon Ogston who directed The Skeptics' Sheen of Gold documentary shot the film and gave it a really awesome otherworldly look with his lighting and steadicam work."
