America's coolest President just got cooler.
Barack Obama has shown off his impeccable taste in music by featuring a New Zealand musician on his 2016 Summer Playlist.
Gin Wigmore's song Man Like That from her 2011 album Gravel and Wine made it on to Obama's "Songs For The Day Time"playlist, revealed overnight.
Wigmore took to Twitter to thank Obama for the mention, writing: "As a musician and a recently inducted American resident, I'd like to say thanks to my mate Barack Obama for this." On Facebook, she wrote that she was "feeling preeeetty chuffed".
Obama shared his list on Twitter with his 9.85 million followers. The list is comprised of 19 "Songs For The Day" and 20 "Songs For The Night".
Other artists to make an appearance on Obama's list include Janelle Monae, Jay Z, Pharrell, Prince, Chance the Rapper, Billie Holiday and Courtney Barnett.
