Congratulations are in order for Twilight star Taylor Lautner. The actor is about to become a dad, with the news his wife, also named Taylor, is pregnant with their first child.
The 34-year-old actor shared the news with fans via a post on Instagram featuring loved-up snaps of mum-to-be holdingup pictures of their ultrasound. One shot shows Lautner kissing his wife’s belly, showing off the doting dad he’s about to become.
“What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?” he captioned their reveal.
The comment cheekily poked fun at mum and dad sharing the same name – perhaps bub will make it a trifecta?
Fans were sinking their teeth into the idea of three Taylors in the family.
Lautner, best known for his breakout role as werewolf Jacob Black in the vampire series, met his wife through his sister, Makena Moore. It was a chance encounter that happened when he least expected to fall in love.
“I wanted to take a step back and enjoy life and spend some time with my family and friends. And I met my fiancee out of it, so it all worked out,” he told People.
The pair went public with their relationship in 2018 before becoming engaged in 2021 and marrying at Epoch Estate Wines in California the following year.

Becoming a dad has been 10 years in the making for Lautner. He opened up about wanting to have his own family in 2016, telling Bustle: “I’m very family-oriented, I’ve loved kids my whole life. I look forward to that one day for sure.”
That time appeared to be getting closer for the couple last year, both hinting to US Weekly that a baby was on the cards in the immediate future (albeit, the thought being a little scary).
“Sometimes we get a little nervous. How do we raise kids [who] are going to be able to speak up for themselves or feel like they can talk to us about this?” they told the publication.
“It scares me … Definitely at some time at some point, there will be [kids].”
Tay added Lautner would make a great dad when the time comes: “He’s a gem. He’s my golden retriever – that’s what I call him. He’s just joy on Earth.”
