American Idol
Just in case you still care about such things, this week sees the final ever (ever!) episodes of American Idol (tonight at 9.45pm, and tomorrow at 9pm on Prime).
Not only will they be crowning a new winner from the final three (Trent Harmon, Dalton Rapattoni, and La'PorshaRenae) but all 15 past winners will reassemble, along with some other contestants. Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood will perform.
TV3 is bringing us the second season of Australian reality TV experiment Married at First Sight (8.30pm, tonight), in which relationship psychologist John Aiken, psychologist and dating expert Mel Schilling, and neuropsychotherapist Trisha Stratford bring eight keen people together as four couples, who meet for the first time at the altar. Is it more exploitative than The Bachelor? We'll let you decide.
The Tunnel
Commander Elise Wassermann of the French Police (Clemence Poesy) and wry DCI Karl Roebuck from the UK (Stephen Dillane) are back in a second season of channel-crossing thriller series The Tunnel. The pair are brought in to investigate when a French couple are abducted from the Eurotunnel, leaving their daughter alone and terrified, and a plane crashes in the Channel, killing all on board.
