TV corrections debate halted by alarm, evacuation

An alarm going off has stopped a TV corrections debate in its tracks this morning.

Labour and National corrections spokespeople Kelvin Davis and Louise Upston were on Three's The Nation this morning discussing policy for New Zealand prisons when an alarm went off.

Presenter Lisa Owen told viewers they would have to evacuate the building.

The show is now back on, about 10-15 minutes after the evacuation.
