Fat Freddy's Drop are heading out on tour in support of their fourth album, Bay.
Fat Freddy's Drop have confirmed they'll release their fourth album this year - and they're heading out on tour to celebrate.
The Wellington reggae collective will release the nine-track album Bays, the follow-up to 2013's Blackbird, on October 23.
Recorded at the band's Wellington studio, vocalist Joe Dukie said thealbum's creation was "a more creative process ... than recording songs which have been well road-tested".
They'll be testing the songs out with a full-scale summer tour taking in 12 shows over December and January.
Tickets are on sale from September 16, with a pre-sale starting on September 16.
