Backstreet Boys are back - and this time, they're bringing Kevin.
The iconic US boy band were last here in 2010, when they performed as a four-piece with AJ McLean, Howie Dorough, Nick Carter and Brian Littrell making the trip Down Under.
But when they perform at Vector Arena on May 12 they'll be playing as a five-piece, with original member Kevin Richardson making the trip too. Richardson quit in 2006, but rejoined the boys in 2012.
They'll be playing in support of their 2013 album, In a World Like This. But it will be their surefire hits from the 90s that most in the crowd will be wanting to hear, like Everybody (Backstreet's Back), Incomplete, and I Want It That Way.
Their recent documentary Show 'Em What You're Made Of is due to screen in New Zealand theatres in March.
Of their last show here in 2010, reviewer Rebecca Barry Hill said it was a show full of "gloriously camp boy band moments".
"The band still rely on their old stable of choreographed white-man manoeuvres: it's raining on my face, the lawn mower, side-scissor robot shuffle."
Tickets are on sale from February 27, with pre-sales beginning on February 24.
