Tom Ford's TMI about Jake Gyllenhaal's 'manscaping'

If you've ever wondered what Jake Gyllenhaal is rocking downstairs, you're in luck.

Tom Ford, who directed the upcoming movie Nocturnal Animals, revealed a little too much information about the 35-year-old actor's private parts.

In an interview with Vulture, Ford was asked why he didn't get Gyllenhaal to shave his chest for the film that also stars Amy Adams.

"It just never occurred to me that he should shave his chest!" Ford said.

"I happen to like body hair. I think people should leave it alone - I'm not a fan of all this manscaping that goes on. I don't really get it."

The trailer for Nocturnal Animals, which is set to hit Aussie cinemas in November, shows Gyllenhaal sitting naked on the edge of a bath tub.

And from the sounds of it, Tom Ford snuck a little peek.

"If you like the chest, you should see what's down here," he said to Vulture with a grin.

"There is no manscaping. There is NO manscaping."

Ford finished the interview by thanking the journalist and added, "I'll get Jake to show you his bush sometime".
