US hip-hop star Timbaland has cancelled his show in Auckland this weekend.
Timbaland was set to perform at Auckland's Vector Arena on Saturday August 23, but the show has been scrapped, along with his Australian tour.
A notice on www.ticketmaster.co.nz said the concert had been cancelled, but offered no explanation for the decision. Full refunds will be available to fans who purchased tickets.
Tour promoters Showtime Touring said in a statement: "It is with great disappointment we must advise all ticketholders to get refunds from point of purchase because all indications is that Timbaland is not going to show up for the Australian/New Zealand shows even though we have not been officially notified of this intent."
A a representative for Universal Music told LIVENEWS.com.au.,"Its certain that Timbaland won't be touring.
"Its out of our hands however, its up to Showtime Touring to organise."
