Hold your horses everyone - the new George RR Martin novel is on its way ... but not quite yet.
Like Daenerys's dragons, there have been many rumours flying around about the release date but we now have some hard and fast facts.
Random House who is the US publisher of Martin's novels, has issued a statement to Entertainment Weekly saying: "As his publisher, we support George RR Martin as he works hard to finish The Winds of Winter. Any on-sale dates currently listed online for the novel are incorrect. Once we have a publication date for The Winds of Winter, the world will know."
But Amazon France has put up a listing already for Winds of Winter - making keen fans very excited.
The release date says it will out in March, 2017. The listing is still live, too.
The March release date could make sense because it would come out just before Game of Thrones returns to air for its seventh season on HBO.

It would be the perfect situation because just when fans need their Thrones fix they can enjoy Martin's new book instead.
However, his UK publisher HarperCollins has said that "nothing has been finalised regarding the publication or the date".
His other US publisher, Penguin Random House, hasn't yet commented.
Amazon is seemingly notorious for previously holding place holder dates for Martin's novels like A Song of Ice and Fire.
George RR Martin has previously said that when his next book is finished, he will announce it first on his blog.
So until you see it there folks, take it all with a grain of salt.
