ASB Theatre, Aotea Centre: You'll find a Disco Inferno at the Aotea Centre tonight when the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra is joined by singers Annie Crummer, Laughton Kora and Esther Stephens in one of the most feel-good orchestral performances of the year. Capturing the spirit of New York's legendary mirror-balled Studio 54, it's back to the era of boob tubes, hot pants and platform shoes to get on down to music by the likes of The Bee Gees, Donna Summer, KC and the Sunshine Band, The Jacksons and Earth, Wind & Fire.

Mangere Arts Centre: Now in its third year, the Pacific Dance Festival gets bigger and busier every year. That in itself shows the depth and breadth of fresh and diverse work being made by Pacific choreographers. Tonight, it's Blueprint, where hip hop, contemporary dance and theatre meld together to consider the single moments that can have a profound impact on our lives. On Friday and Saturday, Otara artist Aloali'i Tapu performs his dance-theatre work Goodbye Naughton — a coming-of-age story dedicated to Pacific youth.
