Playing the titular beleaguered dairy owner, Kalyani Nagarajan presents an engaging blend of humour and poignancy as she pulls off mercurial mood swings from domineering matriarch, to heartbroken widow, disappointed mother, coyly flirtatious suitor and hedonistic party-girl.
