However when the actual performance took place, there was a slight technical glitch and they ended up having to perform their song twice.
Initially clad in red trench coats they started their performance backstage before stripping off the coats to reveal their naked glitter embellished chests.
The crowd cheered as they broke out into song and rocked their performance.

"This was incredibly brave of the ARIAs to invite us here tonight," the girls told the audience.
"We're the loose cannons of the industry, little unpredictable and slightly unprofessional at times. We promise to be on our best behaviour," they added.
The Hook Me Up hitmakers went on to recall the highlight of last year's awards ceremony - performing on stage with Tina Arena - while also gushing about the special moments to come this year.

Playing hosts on music's biggest night of nights is the cherry on top of a sensational month for The Veronicas, who won two accolades in 2015 and are also nominated for three more this year.
On Friday, the Brisbane-born duo released their single On Your Side, accompanied by a raunchy video starring, written and directed by Ruby Rose.
It was even more special for Jessica, who rekindled her romance with Rose during the process.
