The news of David Bowie's death has seen an outpouring of grief on social media, with many sharing their favourite pictures and memories of the star on their Twitter and Facebook accounts.
One image in particular has resonated with fans, a GIF of Bowie's many changing faces and styles byBritish artist Helen Green.
Green created the GIF last year and last month wrote of her surprise it was being shared again. "Happy 69th Birthday to the Thin White Duke himself! Can't wait to listen to the new album. It's amazing to see the Bowie GIF still travelling around a year later - enormous thanks to everyone who shared/shares it! x."
