Fans of romantic drama The Notebook will soon be able to relive the tear-jerker through a TV adaptation of the film.
US TV Network, The CW, is developing a series based on Nicholas Sparks' best selling 1996 novel and the 2004 film starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, Entertainment Weekly
reports.
The story follows the romantic relationship of Noah and Allie set in post-World War II America.
However the TV version is unlikely to depict the couple in their older years, which in the film showed Allie becoming stricken with Alzheimer's disease.
