The internet weighs in: what will Kim Kardashian name her new baby?

Nobody thought they would go there with North, but Kim Kardashian and rapper husband Kanye West are not ones to follow the crowd.

The couple's first child together is a little girl named North.

Now fans are guessing what their new arrival might be called after his birth was announced on Twitter with a simple photo and message.

Since his arrival early Saturday morning (American time), there have been no updates.

The Kardashian-West clan have not yet released any details about the child's weight or first name, however an exclusive report by Hollywood Life claims he will take the middle name 'Rob' in memory of Kim's late father.

A famous lawyer, Rob Snr passed away in 2003 after a battle with esophageal cancer.

So far, so sensible. But Twitter tells a different story - the social media site is trending with a myriad of alternate, entirely ridiculous names for the baby boy.
