1. Those majestic spaceship chases
If there's one thing this trailer nails, it's those sweeping shots of epic, full scale space battles. X-Wing fighters chase down and destroy Imperial ships over lakes, forests and warzones, while the Millenium Falcon evades destruction in a highspeed chase over dusty sand dunes litteredwith the wrecks of spaceships.

"It's true ... all of it," says Han Solo when confronted about some aging jedi myths. He could easily be talking about those action scenes, because they feel very real indeed.

"Nothing will stand in our way," says baddie Kylo Ren, talking to the warped mask of Darth Vader. "I will finish what you started." The Force Awakens needs a great baddie, and with his growly voice and masked face, Adam Driver seems to be relishing his outing here.

4. Han and Chewie are in trouble
It wouldn't be a Star Wars film without Han Solo and Chewbacca getting up to mischief. In this scene, they've both got their hands in the air, so they're obviously up to no good.

Did Chewie hurt someone after losing a game of chess? Did he finally snap and throw C-3PO into a trash compacter? Or did Han shoot someone in a bar? If so, he definitely, definitely pulled the trigger first. No doubt about it.
5. Look at that droid

This trailer gives sci-fi nerds plenty to drool over - especially when it comes to hardware. Look at this one, with his crazy crab hands and dustbin face. What's he up to? Where's he going? I can't wait to find out.
