We can't be sure. Incidentally, it was at the same time the world's most famous porn actor, James Deen, was flirting with his multi-millionaire girlfriend on Twitter. Lorde responded with surprising friendliness. And her boyfriend took to Instagram with a phallus cactaceae. Er, prickly subject?

But when you're dressed as a Christmas tree, complete with horizontal tinsel around your midriff, hanging baubles from your digits, and a gold star headband that your five-year-old niece would spurn, then you, too, would probably look like the Grinch That Stole Your Common Sense.
