The Block winner has nursery plans

Former The Block NZ winner Alice Pearson is building her own little nest.

Just weeks out from having her baby, Pearson has launched a nursery design company.

Little Nest — part of online baby store Little Co — has packages ranging from $377 for online design to $611 for a personal on-site visit from Pearson.

Nikki Jury from Little Co said she was thrilled to have Pearson on board for the venture.

"I loved Alice and Caleb's design on The Block and Alice is so vibrant but down-to-earth, so new mums can really relate to her," Jury said.

"She has some fantastic ideas on how to bring a nursery to life and put it all together on any budget."

Pearson joined the Little Co team after contacting the company for ideas for her baby boy's nursery. The former youth worker was expected to squeeze in a couple of consultations before going on maternity leave this week.

Pearson is the second winner from The Block NZ to go into the design business after the show. Brother and sister team Libby and Ben Crawford launched a design company after winning the first season.
