Teuila Blakely still isn't over her Dancing With the Stars elimination

Teuila Blakely says her elimination was an outrage.

Teuila Blakely has given yet another interview about her Dancing With the Stars elimination, this time calling her exit an "outrage".

Blakely and her dance partner Scott Cole were sent home last week after performing a routine dressed as characters from the X-Men movie series.

At the time, she told TV3 host Paul Henry the show would be boring without her on it, and said she had little interest in the outcome.

The 40-year-old Shortland Street star has revisited the issue with Woman's Day, telling the magazine her exit was "an outrage".

"It feels like something has gone wrong with the universe," Blakely tells WD. "I'm still bewildered - it's an outrage ...

"I really feel that Scott and I were a competitive couple, and we brought something to the competition that was incredibly different.

"Ultimately, that's what probably ended our time too, but in saying that I don't regret that we were the couple who pushed the boundaries each week."

Blakely and Cole had earlier been criticised for performing a "hip-hop cha-cha" to Ice Ice Baby by one-hit wonder Vanilla Ice.

With a double elimination looming on the show tonight, Blakely said it was likely to be a much tamer show without her on it.

"It won't be nearly as fun now that I'm gone ... There'll be no more swear words or dirty jokes now ... "

Blakely has since taken to Facebook to say her WD interview wasn't meant to be about her elimination.
