The multi-coloured flashing wristbands Taylor Swift's fans are given before concerts helped save three devotees' lives.
The Blank Space hitmaker brought her 1989 tour to Baton Rouge, Louisiana's LSU Tiger Stadium, and each concertgoer received a wristband, which syncs to the beat of the music during the show.
Following thegig, Elizabeth Dazzio was driving her sister Caroline and a friend home when she fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed the vehicle, leaving her unconscious and her two passengers trapped in the wreckage.
Two of the girls' cell phones had run out of power and a third could not be located, and so their only hope was the flashing bracelets, which they used as emergency flares to catch the attention of drivers passing by.
Finally, a woman noticed the lights and pulled over to help the girls, calling paramedics to the scene.
Elizabeth Dazzio was the only passenger admitted to hospital, but she is expected to make a full recovery.
