Taylor Swift says she'll never come clean on the true inspiration behind her tell all tunes.
No amount of gossip or speculation over who she may be referencing in her songs will make the Blank Space singer name names.
Swift said not revealing who she's talking about is one ofthe things that keep her private life private.
Media have linked One Direction star Harry Styles to track Out Of The Woods, rival songstress Katy Perry to Bad Blood and former flame Joe Jonas to Forever & Always.
"The fact that I've never confirmed who those songs are about makes me feel like there is still one card I'm holding," she told GQ magazine.
The interview also showed she has a major soft spot for fellow artist Justin Timberlake who called to ask if he could make an appearance at each of her LA shows.
Writer Chuck Kosterman was in earshot when Swift received the phone call and described her reaction as being like that of a " teenage girl".
"When she ends the call, Swift looks at me and says: 'This is so crazy. This is so crazy'. She repeats that phrase four times, each time with ascending volume."
Swift also admitted to staying away from social media for more than a year and that inspiration for the music video for Wildest Dreams came from reading a book called The Secret Conversations.
Being called "calculating" was one term she found "highly offensive".
"Here was someone taking a positive thing - the fact that I think about things and that I care about my work - and trying to make that into an insinuation about my personal life," she said.
"You can be accidentally successful for three or four years. Accidents happen. But careers take hard work."
