"This is the first time in 10 years that I haven't known. I just decided that after the past year, with all of the unbelievable things that happened, I decided I was going to live my life a little bit without the pressure on myself to create something," she told Vogue.
But while the 26-year-old admits she is interested in pursuing a fashion line in the future, she is quick to reassure fans that she is not abandoning music altogether.
"I'm always going to be writing songs," she explained. "The thing is, with me, I could very well come up with three things in the next two weeks and then jump back into the studio, and all of a sudden the next record is started. That's an option, too."

The blonde beauty, who poses for the fashion magazine's cover in a metallic mini-dress, adds she has many short-term goals that aren't related to music and would like to learn CPR, how to change a tyre and to be a "well-rounded person who can make a good drink".
Further, Swift shares that her relationship with Scottish DJ/producer Calvin Harris is moving along nicely.
"I'm just taking things as they come," she smiled. "I'm in a magical relationship right now."
