Academic and author Andrew Dubber is the driving force behind New Music Strategies, a music culture thinktank established with the aim to "make the most of music in response to transformative media technologies".
Mark Kneebone, director of the New Zealand chapter of
, studied under Dubber as part of AUT University's Communications programme, parlaying his studies into a career that takes in Kog Transmissions, Isaac Promotions and now Laneway.
